What a source marker means
A numbered marker means that the linked source supports or contextualizes the adjacent statement. It does not mean GroundingWiki endorses every statement on the source page.
Preference order
Legal and operational facts begin with official or government records where available. Independent sources are used for corroboration, context and contested claims. Discovery-only material must be replaced by inspectable evidence before a claim can be verified.
Evidence dates
The checked date records when the source was inspected. It is separate from a source publication date and from any period during which a claim is valid.
